Order placement concept development for the plant modification of the Abfallzweckverband Südniedersachen

Award of contract for the development of a concept for the optimisation of various sub-areas in the waste sorting plant of the Abfallzweckverband Südniedersachen (waste association).
In the waste sorting plant of the Waste Association of Südniedersachsen, approx. 130,000 Mg/a of household waste and waste similar to household waste are processed annually into substitute fuel. The fine material is fed to a fermentation plant. The methane obtained is used to generate energy in its own combined heat and power plant.
The planning tasks assigned to Waste Tec include optimisation in the area of fuel preparation as well as loading and removal of the recyclable material fractions.
The implementation of the optimisation work is to be completed by the end of 2019 after detailed technical and economic examination.
