Start of regular operation at the Beselich composting plant

After 2 years of planning the reconstruction of the Beselich composting plant, originally commissioned in 1997, was started on behalf of the Hermann Hofmann Group in December 2018.
After successful commissioning of the 1st construction phase in April 2019 and the 2nd construction phase in November 2019, the plant commenced regular operation in January 2020.
The plant now turns 36,000 t/a of bio-waste and 14,700 t/a of green waste into compost and biomass fuel for energy recovery.
